About Roger Allbrandt, J.D., M.B.A.

Founder, The Law Office of Roger Allbrandt
Admitted Maryland (2003), New Jersey (2003), Certified Mediator (2016)

Roger Allbrandt is an attorney and entrepreneur with a multifaceted background in law, mediation, government, and property management. He was admitted to the Maryland Bar in 2003 and remains licensed and in good standing

Roger began his legal career as a Law Clerk with Council, Baradel, Kosmerl & Nolan, P.A. in Annapolis, Maryland, where he represented sophisticated investors in FINRA (formerly NASD) arbitrations and performed extensive financial and legal analysis of portfolio risk, suitability, and expectancy damages.

He then joined the Maryland Office of the Public Defender, where he represented more than 3,500 defendants and chaired over 50 bench and jury trials, including first-degree murder cases.

In 2011, Roger was appointed Hearings Officer (Administrative Law Judge) for the Colorado Oil and Gas Conservation Commission (COGCC). In that capacity, he presided over complex administrative hearings, reviewed geologic and engineering evidence, and made formal recommendations to the Commission on regulatory decisions involving environmental and public health impacts.

An experienced mediator, Roger has conducted hundreds of court mediations in Denver County Courts and served as Director of Communications for Court Mediation Services, coordinating a volunteer staff of more than 60 mediators. His mediation style emphasizes clarity, practicality, and resolution—reminding parties what they have to gain by finding common ground.

Roger also brings a strong entrepreneurial background to his legal practice. Since 2015, he has owned and operated Optima Property Management, an Airbnb Superhost and real estate management company specializing in rehabilitating unconventional units into profitable investment properties. He combines legal, business, and property management insight to assist clients navigating the intersection of real estate, contracts, and dispute resolution.

Before entering law, Roger served four years in the United States Army Infantry, where he was commissioned through Army ROTC at the University of Colorado Boulder and attained the rank of Captain. A Distinguished Military Graduate, Roger completed advanced military leadership courses including Airborne, Ranger, Pathfinder, and Scout Platoon Leader.

Roger earned his Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration (J.D./M.B.A.) from the University of Miami, and his B.A. in Environmental Biology from the University of Colorado Boulder. He also holds an A.S. in Information Technology from Colorado Technical University, graduating with Honors.

Today, Roger combines his legal training, government experience, and entrepreneurial perspective to help clients resolve conflicts, protect their investments, and move forward with confidence.
